Zoe Himmah was born in Hartford Connecticut the third of four kids.  Her dad was in the navy, giving her the experience of living in Washington and California as a young child.  In 1994 her dad retired, and they moved back to Port Orchard Washington, a small town in Kitsap County.  Graduating from South Kitsap High School in 2002, from Olympic Community College in 2005, and returning to school in 2013 at Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy.

Zoe current lives with housemates in Smokey Point, WA, along with 2 dogs, 4 cats, a ball python, a bearded dragon, an iguana, and a large tank of assorted fish. Jasper, her 11 year old kitty, is a snuggle bug that likes to curl up on her when she’s laying down in bed.

Before coming to BCW she worked at Harmony Massage in Bothell, and prior to that at a Chiropractic office in White Center, WA.  She has been working as an LMT since September 4th, 2014, with only a very small gap in early 2015 and the 3 months of 2020 due to the covid-19 pandemic shutdown.  She started out as a patient at BCW and had attended the June Dinner with the Docs event, in which she was surprised with an impromptu job offer. Not looking a gift horse in the mouth, she leapt at the chance for professional growth.  She continues to receive chiropractic care with Dr. Cassie and has already seen vast improvements in how she feels and moves.

In her personal time, she enjoys doing a lot of different activities.  She is an active member in the SCA, a global historical reenactment society.  She also attends pirate festivals, and volunteers at conventions.  She is quite a nerdy geeky person and enjoys playing video and tabletop games, watching tv and movies with friends, and crafting.  She also loves to bake and cook and enjoys reading quirky medical history books.
